THE BRAND IDENTITY:

The Dental Design space is one where things have remained the status quo for far too long. While looking at many current dental practice designs and brand identities, I felt transported back 50 years. When the business manager  or Smiles in Orange County approached me to redesign their practice logo and said he was ready for something fresh and different, I was immediately inspired.

Inspired by "glowing" smiles and tubes of toothpaste I created the hand drawn logo for Smiles in Orange County with a knockout color palette to match.

BRAND IDENTITY APPLICATION

Applying the logo design to various other materials was fun and exciting to see as well. The bright blue stands out on any material or in any environment and really lends itself to the friendly and clean aesthetic that Smiles in Orange County is trying to achieve.

PRIMARY COLOR PALETTE

The signature color palette Smiles in Orange County uses is a bright refresh from other dental offices and companies. Smiles in O.C. wants to stand out but still feel like a trustworthy and knowledgable medical environment. They want to attract new young patients while still keeping the older and dedicated patients that have trusted their work for years.

JR William

JR William launched in August 2017 to introduce products that Jack and Rachel always wanted and could never find. With their newborn, William, in mind, J and R sought to efficiently enhance their home with designs that would reflect their minimalist and contemporary aesthetic.
